A project in service of environmental transparency
Orbae.eco is an open data platform dedicated to the environmental impact of agriculture on a global scale. It offers interactive maps, key indicators, and analytical reports, aimed at all stakeholders engaged in ecological transition: researchers, journalists, businesses, NGOs, or even curious citizens.
The objective: to make these complex data understandable, accessible, and actionable, to better combat climate change.
A close collaboration with Dataveyes
We had the pleasure of working again with Dataveyes, a studio specialized in data visualization, as well as with Denis Fongue, an independent interaction designer, and AdAstra Sustainability, who are the originators of the project.
Our primary mission? To contribute to the design of clear and intuitive interfaces that facilitate data exploration.
Our contributions in UX and UI:
Optimization of navigation and data search
Improvement of the understanding of complex reports
Highlighting the advanced features of the Orbae Pro version

Building on a previous collaboration on their service Modality, we found with Dataveyes a mutual understanding that greatly facilitated our work on Orbae.eco.
"Our collaboration with Source was a real asset for the project: smooth, efficient, and based on trust. They notably proposed and implemented comprehensive solutions to solve interaction and information challenges."
— Caroline Goulard, CEO of Dataveyes
A design in service of the mission
This project perfectly embodies our vision of product design: a user-centered approach, but also focused on impact. Working on a tool like Orbae is an opportunity to contribute to a useful, sustainable project that aligns with the challenges of our time.
Once again, a big thank you to Dataveyes and AdAstra Sustainability for their trust.
